Effects and Recommendation :
Resulting In: Rhabdomyolysis, Myopathy Gemfibrozil can increase the serum levels of Cerivastatin Sodium and increase the risk of toxicity.
Avoid combining CERIVASTATIN and GEMFIBROZIL. If the combination of gemifibrozil and a statin is needed in patients with severe hyperlipidemia (goal of lowering LDL-C and TG) use one of the others..Lescol, Lipitor, Mevacor, Pravachol, Zocor and monitor fo
