Home : I : Indomethacin : Digoxin and Indomethacin

Effects and Recommendation :
Indomethacin may increase serum levels of Digoxin in premature infants.
Caution is warranted in preterm infants with reduced renal function. Until urine output and serum DIGOXIN levels are assessed, consider decreasing the DIGOXIN dose by 50% when INDOMETHACIN is added to DIGOXIN therapy in preterm infants.
