Ethinyl Estradiol/Levonorgestrel and Ketoconazole

Effects and Recommendation :
Ketoconazole can increase the estrogen serum level contained in Ethinyl Estradiol/Levonorgestrel possibly resulting in increased adverse reactions. Ketoconazole can reduce the effectivness of Ethinyl Estradiol/Levonorgestrel.
Warn women about the risk of contraceptive fialure. Conside an alternative method of birth control.
