Effects and Recommendation :
Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate may reduce serum levels of Lamivudine.
Monitor patient's response. Due do similarities between emtricitabine and lamivudine, Truvada (tenofovir/emitricitabine), should not be coadminstered with drugs containing lamivudine.
