Effects and Recommendation :
Resulting In: Serotonin syndrome Concomitant use of Selegiline HCl and Venlafaxine HCl may cause "serotonin syndrome" including irritability, weakness, tremor, muscle spasm and loss of consciousness.
Do not administer them together. Allow at least 1 week after stopping VENLAFAXINE or NEFAZODONE before starting SELEGILINE (MAO INHIBITOR for parkinsons disease). After stopping MAO INHIBITOR, allow at least 2 weeks before starting VENLAFAXINE or NEFAZO
